The questing failed, beyond despair;
Vocation found in critic’s chair.

                    Smudge of memory, pressured clean,
                    Is diamond worth and twice as keen.

(Some we know are short of ration)
Hype controls the artist’s passion
No message here, but memes to cash in.

                    Pithy points with little scope
                    Are fine enough to serve as trope
                    But if you grope here for some hope
                    Then mope or cope; I tope and dope.
